TIGIRLILY GOLD RELEASES DREAMY NEW SINGLE “FOREVER FROM HERE”
The Track Will Impact Country Radio on 2/24
Nashville, TN – Sister duo Tigirlily Gold releases dreamy new single, “Forever From Here,” out now. The wistful track is a nostalgic love letter to the Midwest, and a call back to the place that made them Tigirlily Gold…North Dakota.
Fitting for a Valentine’s Day release, the lyrics are the perfect love story for any couple picturing a future together:
I can see a house with the shutters blue
A couple little kids that look like you
Kiss me right now don’t need no reason
Baby this love’s in harvest season
What do you say let’s give it a go
Build a little life with room to grow
With a sky this clear
I can see forever from here
Listen to “Forever From Here” HERE.
“’Forever From Here’ was inspired by growing up in the rural Midwest, the land of wide-open spaces, and falling in love,” says Tigirlily Gold’s Kendra Olson. “We were raised on 2000’s country and this song is unapologetically bright and nostalgic, just like all the songs we loved hearing on the radio growing up. We couldn’t be more excited for this song to kick off this next season of music from us,” Tigirlily Gold’s Krista Slaubaugh.
Written by Tigirlily Gold’s Olson and Slaubaugh, along with 4-time GRAMMY winner Shane McAnally and frequent collaborator Pete Good, and produced by Good, the song will impact country radio on February 24th. “Forever From Here” follows the success of top 30 single “I Tried A Ring On” and its predecessor, top 40 single “Shoot Tequila.”
2024 proved to be the biggest year yet for the sister-duo, who were named the ACM New Duo/Group of the Year and were nominated for two CMT Awards and two People’s Choice Country Awards. They were named to Music Row’s “Next Big Thing” list, performed at festivals like Faster Horses, C2C in London and Glasgow, and Tortuga Music Festival, and shared stages with artists like Kelsea Ballerini, Parker McCollum, and Walker Hayes. Poised for a breakout year in 2025 and ready to bring girl group energy back to country, “Forever From Here” is the first taste of new music from the duo, and hints at what’s to come on their next project, expected out later this year.
More About Tigirlily Gold
Sisters Kendra Olson and Krista Slaubaugh have been playing music together since they could walk and officially formed Tigirlily Gold when they were still teens. They spent their high school years growing a fierce fan base in their home-state of North Dakota, and after moving to Nashville, TN, they cut their teeth by playing four-hour sets, three to four nights a week at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row on the city’s famed lower Broadway. In 2021 the duo signed with Monument Records and released their debut EP, working with multi-Grammy Award winner Shane McAnally. Last year they released their debut, full length album, Blonde – a deeply personal project that features top 40 radio single “Shoot Tequila,” along with follow-up, top 30 single, “I Tried A Ring On.” Tigirlily Gold has been nominated for two CMT Awards and two People’s Choice Country Awards and won the 2024 ACM Award for New Duo of the Year, where they performed “I Tried A Ring On” during the show to a national audience. They have been featured in Billboard, American Songwriter, Vulture, and Forbes, and performed their music on NBC’s TODAY Show. Their new single, “Forever From Here,” is out now, with more music expected in 2025.
